- NO NO. I hear this 100 times.

- EC stands for Embedded Controller, which was the original indended application of
- this line of chips. It does not mean "EConomy" this is just a coincidence.
- It would not make much sense to sell chips called "Economy 68030" or "68030 Lite",
- they're not trying to make the chips sound cheap, it has a more technical meaning.

- actually knows what it means, so they guess at it....
